Spinal Decompression in Gilbert

For those living with stubborn back discomfort, radiating leg symptoms, or persistent neck issues, we understand how debilitating the pain can be. Often, your symptoms may not respond to other types of care, and you end up frustrated and overwhelmed by the experience.

Whether you’re dealing with disc problems, nerve irritation, or chronic compression, spinal decompression at Carbon Chiropractic & Integrative Health may be what you need.

This gentle, non-surgical therapy relieves pressure on your spine, improves circulation to damaged tissues, and supports natural healing.

NEW PATIENTS

An Approach Focused Only On You

Dr. Pudenz takes a patient-first approach, carefully evaluating your condition and designing a plan that addresses the root cause, not just the symptoms. Our goal is to help you move freely again, and we use advanced traction technology to create space in the spine, allowing injured tissues to recover.

How This Therapy Works

Spinal decompression is performed on a specialized motorized table that gently stretches and releases the spine in a controlled pattern. You’ll be comfortably secured while the device applies a light pulling force that creates negative pressure within the spinal discs. This can help herniated or bulging disc material retract, relieve pressure on irritated nerves, and improve blood flow to areas under stress. The process is gradual and controlled, so your body can relax. Once the cycle is complete, the table returns your spine to its natural position, keeping the experience comfortable and low-stress.

Conditions That Respond to This Care

Spinal decompression is often helpful for herniated or bulging discs, sciatica, degenerative disc disease, chronic back discomfort, chronic neck tension, and spinal stenosis. If you’ve been told you have a disc problem, or if numbness and tingling have been disrupting your life, decompression may offer relief.

What to Expect During Your Sessions

Each session lasts about 15 minutes, and most patients complete four to eight visits, depending on the severity of their condition. You simply lie on the table while the machine does the work. Many patients listen to music or rest during this calming experience.

Determine Your Eligibility Through Evaluation

If you’ve had spinal fusion surgery, decompression may not be appropriate. Our chiropractor will perform a thorough evaluation to determine if this approach is right for you and recommend alternatives if needed.
